Annual Dark and Stormy Regatta 2026

The Annual Dark & Stormy Regatta is back on Saturday 7th March, and once again we’ll be gathering in beautiful Trellis Bay for one of the most relaxed, sociable, and entertaining race days on the BVI calendar.

If last year is anything to go by, you can expect:

A fun, friendly race format with plenty of on-water banter. Great participation from local cruisers and race regulars. A laid-back start and a competitive finish. Strong rum, plenty of ginger beer, and a few stories that improved as the night went on

The spirit of this event has always been about participation over perfection. Whether you are racing hard or just out for the fun of it, this regatta brings together skippers, crews, and friends for a proper Anegada party.

Last year we saw everything from serious contenders trimming for every tenth of a knot to crews more focused on their cocktail ratios than sail trim. That mix is exactly what makes this event special.

After racing, the social side kicks in with the traditional Dark & Stormy flow, prize giving, DJ and Party at the Anegada Reef Hotel.
