This will see the 46th year of the West End Yacht Club Regatta and immediately brings back memories of those glorious schooners and classic wooden boats of yesteryear that graced the Caribbean waters.
This year will include an ‘Around JVD’ race in memory of past commodore David Cooper.
With fewer wooden boats around these days the event has long since been open to all boats , plastic, wooden or otherwise, and Foxy’s on Jost van Dyke remains a consistent and memorable destination. We hope also to enjoy the company of some refurbished Tortola Sloops.
With the further easing of COVID-19 entry restrictions and following a successful Spring Regatta we hope to see a return to this two day BVI event of some of our old friends on the Caribbean circuit and particularly those from the USVI.
